IcelandUnlocked ehf. operates as an online travel agency and booking platform. We resell tours and experiences provided by trusted third-party operators. By booking through our website, you enter into a contract with the respective service provider, not directly with IcelandUnlocked.
2. Booking Process
All bookings are processed via our affiliate partners, primarily through the Bókun booking platform. Availability, confirmation, and payment are handled through their systems. You will receive a booking confirmation and relevant details by email.
3. Payment
Payments are processed securely via the Bókun platform or directly by the tour provider. IcelandUnlocked does not store or handle payment information. All transactions are subject to the terms of the respective operator or payment provider.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation policies vary by tour and provider. It is your responsibility to review the cancellation terms listed during the booking process. Most tours allow free cancellation up to a certain number of hours or days before the scheduled departure.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed by the tour operator or booking provider. IcelandUnlocked cannot issue refunds directly.
5. Changes & Modifications
Requests for changes or modifications (such as date or time) must be made in accordance with the policies of the specific tour provider. We recommend contacting them directly using the information provided in your confirmation email.
6. Responsibility & Liability
IcelandUnlocked is not the operator of any tours or experiences. We are not responsible for:
- Service disruptions, delays, or cancellations by providers
- Accidents, injuries, or loss during tours
- Changes in itinerary due to weather or road conditions
Responsibility lies with the third-party provider operating the tour. You agree to release IcelandUnlocked from liability relating to your participation.
7. Weather, Road Conditions & Natural Events
Icelandic nature is unpredictable. Tour changes or cancellations due to weather, road closures, or safety concerns are made at the discretion of the tour provider. Always check weather and road conditions before travel.

We strive to keep all information on our website up-to-date and accurate. However, details such as prices, durations, and inclusions are subject to change by providers without notice. Always review the full product details during the booking process.
